Hi everyone... and by everyone I mean the 2.3 people who might take a look over here. Haven't posted in forever- I'd really like to get back to it but I've just been (like everyone else) so busy.
Anyway, I love my desktop pic, so here it is. For any of you music/recording geeks, it's the VU meter from my Ampex 351 preamp. I was nerdy enough to make sure there was signal passing when I took the pic. What a loser.

My favorite place to get coffee is a little Cuban place called Las Colinas. Short on atmosphere (as many coffee windows are down here) but the cortadito and cafe con leche are great and cheap.

OK, you asked for it. Yes, there is a wave in this picture. Butt ;) obviously there is something else so so so very wrong with this photo. Yes, someone told this guy, hanging out on Jones Beach sometime last month, that it was a good idea to wear a thong. Maybe for the kids? He looked to be at least late-50's. must...look...away...
